Phil Taylor: 'I can still improve'

Sixteen-time world champion Phil Taylor believes that he can still improve his game ahead of the 2015 Premier League campaign.

Phil Taylor has revealed that he is excited about trying to improve his game for the 2015 PDC season.

The Stoke-on-Trent thrower suffered defeat in last month's PDC World Championship final to Gary Anderson, but ahead of his Premier League opener against the Scot, the 16-time world champion believes that he can take his game to the next level.

The 54-year-old told PDC.tv: "I'm sure me and Gary will have a good game and I'm really excited.

"I still think I can push on, improve and up my level and that's what I'm aiming to do during the season. Every game this year is going to be like a final because the field is full of great players, and it should be a fantastic season."

Taylor has won the Premier League on six occasions, with his last success coming in 2012.
