Phil Taylor eyeing up Dubai Masters trophy

Phil Taylor admits that he would "love to win" the Dubai Masters for the first time.

Phil Taylor has admitted that he would "love to win" the Dubai Masters for the first time in his career.

'The Power' has tasted victory in almost every major event in the sport, but this particular trophy has so far eluded him.

"I would love to win this," the 53-year-old is quoted as saying by The National. "I don't have trophies in my house, to be honest, but this is one that I would keep.

"It is not like a normal trophy, it is a piece of art. It is beautiful. It is a tournament I have never won and I want to win everything before I retire."

Taylor will begin his Dubai campaign against Peter Wright.
