Phil Taylor has recorded a 7-3 victory over Raymond van Barneveld as four players tie for the lead at the top of the Premier League table.

The 16-time world champion averaged almost 103 as he got the better of his great rival to head the table with Michael van Gerwen, who has the same record as the Englishman.

Van Gerwen suffered his second defeat of the campaign as James Wade produced a confident display to earn a 7-4 win.

Gary Anderson faces relegation next week after he squandered a 5-4 advantage to lose 7-5 to Wes Newton.

Fellow Scot Robert Thornton produced a thrilling performance to see off the challenge of Simon Whitlock by a 7-1 scoreline, while Adrian Lewis battled past Andy Hamilton 7-4.
