Gerywn Price has defeated James Wade in the final of week three of the 2022 Premier League, but the night will be remembered for his two nine-darters.
The world number one failed to reach the final of the opening two tournaments, but the Welshman came from behind in a terrific final in Belfast.
At one stage, Price trailed 4-3, but he reeled off the final three legs to prevail by a 6-4 scoreline, hitting five 180s and averaging 105.32 in the process.
However, the highlight of the final came in leg three as he produced his second perfect leg of the night, the first coming in leg five of his semi-final with Michael van Gerwen.
Earlier in the night, Price had averaged in excess of 108 in victories over Michael Smith and Van Gerwen, the latter match going to a last-leg decider.
Despite the disappointment of losing in the final, Wade will take the positives from defeating Jonny Clayton and Peter Wright in the earlier rounds.
Gary Anderson and Joe Cullen went down to Wright and Van Gerwen in the quarter-finals.
