Kyle Anderson keen to maintain PDC progress

Australian Kyle Anderson admits that he is keen to maintain his progress on the PDC Tour after reaching the semi-finals of the Sydney Masters last weekend.

Australian Kyle Anderson has revealed that performing in front of his own fans last weekend has whetted his appetite ahead of future appearances on the PDC Tour.

Anderson beat Raymond van Barneveld and Simon Whitlock on the way to the semi-finals of the Sydney Masters, and ahead of his European Tour debut in Sindelfingen this week, the world number 93 is keen to make an impact during the rest of the year.

The 26-year-old told PDC.TV: "Playing well in Sydney has given me the inspiration to go back to the Europe and compete for the rest of the year.

"I'll be in Germany next weekend and I want to keep this going. The fans were great and they gave me such a buzz."

Anderson hit a nine-dart finish at last year's World Championship before bowing out to Ian White.
