Runako Morton dies in car crash

West Indies batsman Runako Morton has died after being involved in a car crash in Trinidad at the weekend.

The 33-year-old passed away on Sunday leaving a career of 15 Tests and 56 one-day internationals behind him.

England bastman Kevin Pietersen wrote on Twitter: "My thoughts go out to Runako Morton's family this morning... Such sad news!! What a lovely guy & fierce competitor!! RIP bossman!!!"

Morton made his last appearance for the West Indies in a Twenty20 match against Australia in 2010.
