England record a second successive Test draw with West Indies, Kraigg Brathwaite batting out the final 65 overs to help his side to another stalemate.

England have again been held to a Test draw by West Indies having failed to bowl out their hosts during the closing day.

Just like the first Test in Antigua, England returned for the morning session on day five attempting to set a target which was achievable for their opponents, yet unlikely.

England ultimately made 185-6 declared - Zak Crawley and Dan Lawrence the pick of the batsmen with 40 and 41 runs respectively - and it left West Indies with a target of 282 off 65 overs.

The early dismissal of John Campbell for 10 effectively ended any thoughts of an ambitious run-chase, a feeling strengthened when Saqib Mahmood quickly removed Shamarh Brooks (4) and Nkrumah Bonner (3).

However, entering the action at 39-3, Jermaine Blackwood helped steady the ship, hanging around for nearly 25 overs for his 27, and it helped rid England of any momentum.

As for Kraigg Brathwaite, he relished the opportunity to bat out time, the opener remaining unbeaten with 56 off 184 deliveries during an innings which lasted over four hours.

Jack Leach bowled a further 25 overs for figures of 3-36, adding to the 69.5 overs from the first innings, but his efforts proved in vain as West Indies stayed level in the series ahead of the third and final contest.
