England captain Alastair Cook has expressed his disappointment after their third Test match against Sri Lanka at Lord's was abandoned due to heavy rainfall.
Although the hosts took the series 2-0 when the game was called off, the England skipper believes that the weather interrupted what would have been a "good day's cricket".
"It would have been a really good day's cricket. It would have been good to see our guys under some pressure," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
England needed 10 wickets to wrap up the Test and complete the contest with a whitewash, but were denied the opportunity by the elements.
Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews added: "It would have been an interesting chase but the weather interrupted. We wanted to go for it."
With each side claiming two points from the draw, England extended their lead in the inaugural 'Super Series' to 10-2.
