Saturday's opening Twenty20 World Cup match between South Africa and tournament hosts Sri Lanka has been delayed because of rain at the Mahinda Rajapaska International Stadium in Hambantota.
The contest is surprisingly the first time the two nations have met in a T20 encounter.
