Pakistan reach stumps unscathed

Pakistan have ended day three of their first Test against Australia in Dubai on 39 without loss in their second innings.

Australia's wickets began to tumble in the afternoon session after David Warner (133) was bowled out by Yasir Shah in the third ball after lunch.

Pakistan resumed full control of the contest by snatching four wickets in the afternoon session and continued their dominance after tea with the dismissals of Mitchell Johnson (37) and Steve O'Keefe (6).

After Australia were hit all out for 303, Ahmed Shezhad and Azhar Ali took to the crease in a bid to see out the day and increase their total.

The batsmen started steady for Pakistan and both Shehzhad and Ali will return for day four on 22 and 16 runs respectively.

Pakistan lead Australia by 189 runs.
