Result: Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets

Pakistan comfortably won the second one-day international with Zimbabwe as they cruised to a ten-wicket win in Harare.

After winning the toss, Zimbabwe opted to bat first but found conditions tough as they fell to 36 for 2 after 14 overs.

A 104-run partnership between Hamilton Masakadza and captain Brendan Taylor ensured they were able to at least post a competitive total as they ended their 50 overs on 225 for 6.

However, it proved to be a well below par score as Pakistan eased to victory in 41.1 overs without losing a wicket.

Mohammed Hafeez struck a career best 139 not out from 147 balls, while his opening partner Imran Farhat contributed an unbeaten 75.

The result means Pakistan now have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the best of three match series.

The two teams meet again in Harare on Wednesday before playing two Twenty20 internationals.
