Sourav Ganguly questions MS Dhoni's captaincy for India

Sourav Ganguly questions MS Dhoni's captaincy for India, but believes that removing him would "unsettle" the team so close to the World Cup.

Former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly believes that questions should be asked regarding the overseas form of captain MS Dhoni.

India have suffered 10 defeats in 12 Test matches away from home soil following New Zealand's draw this week.

"If the World Cup was not less than a year away, I would have agreed that Dhoni needed to be removed as captain," Ganguly reportedly told Headlines Today.

"His Test captaincy has been obnoxious, but changing captains now will unsettle the team. His place is not in doubt in Test cricket, but Dhoni needs to set the overseas record right."

The 32-year-old batsman made his debut as full-time Test captain back in 2008.
