Rain delays start of second day of third Test in Port Elizabeth

The second morning of England's third Test against South Africa was delayed by rain in Port Elizabeth.

Ben Stokes and Ollie Pope were ready to resume their 76-run stand with England on 224 for four overnight, but the planned 10am start fell foul of showers.

The bad weather relented long enough for the umpires to schedule play for 10.20am local time (8.20am GMT) but the covers were brought back out when another brief shower intervened.

That pushed the scheduled start of play back to 10.45am (8.45am GMT).

The sides are tied at 1-1 after winning on Test apiece in Centurion and Cape Town.
