Moeen Ali century rescues England from 110-5

Moeen Ali has notched the third Test century of his career with a six as England were all out for 328 on day one of the fourth and final match with Pakistan at The Oval.

The all-rounder, dropped on nine by Azhar Ali, put on 93 with Jonny Bairstow (55) and 79 with Chris Woakes (45) after the hosts chose to bat first on a green wicket and found themselves struggling.

Sohail Khan claimed 5-68 and Wahab Riaz 3-93 for Pakistan, who must win to draw the four-match series 2-2.

The tourists suffered one more setback as Sami Aslam fell lbw to Stuart Broad for three in the three overs possible before stumps and closed on 3-1, 325 behind.
