The side will face Australia.

Amy Jones and Natalie Sciver both reached a half-century as England secured a convincing eight-wicket win to reach the Women's World T20 final.

Australia await after Heather Knight's side dominated with bat and ball in North Sound, securing the win with 17 balls to spare.

Jones (53) secured the winning runs with her partnership with Sciver putting the result beyond doubt.

Her four off Anuja Patil sealed the win and her 50, three balls after Sciver reached the same milestone in similar fashion, finding the boundary off the bowling of Deepti Sharma.

India won the toss and opted to bat, but struggled to press on after Smriti Mandhana (34) and Jemimah Rodrigues (26) fell.

Rodrigues's wicket left India on 89 for three in the 14th over and England were quick to mop up, partly in thanks to Knight's two wickets in two balls in the 17th over.

The final three wickets fell for seven runs as India were all out for 112.

India had an early breakthrough, Tammy Beaumont holing out to straight mid-wicket for one.

Her fellow opener Danni Wyatt was caught at deep midwicket for eight in the fifth over as England lagged slightly behind their required run rate.

Sciver and Jones put on a 92-run partnership to seal the win, but it could have been very different had Patil not dropped the former in the sixth over.

India appeared to bowl to contain runs rather than go after wickets, but the pair held firm to seal the comprehensive win.
