England all out, Sri Lanka begin second innings

England added 45 runs to their overnight tally on day three of the second Test with Sri Lanka at Headingley.

The hosts resumed this morning on 320-6, but Matt Prior ran out of partners rapidly as Sri Lanka dismissed England for 365, which gave them a first-innings lead of 108 runs.

In reply, the tourists had an early escape when Dimuth Karunaratne's edge into the slips from a James Anderson delivery was dropped by Chris Jordan.

Karunaratne made the most of that let-off as he went on to make 16 before lunch was called alongside Kaushal Silva, who is also unbeaten on six as Sri Lanka reached 22 runs for no loss.

England will go into the afternoon session with a lead of 86 runs.
