England have ended day four of the third Test against the West Indies on 221/5 following an action-packed day at Edgbaston.
Half-centuries for Kevin Pietersen and Ian Bell have helped the hosts move to within 205 runs of the tourists.
Starting on 280-8, the Windies soon found themselves a man down when Ravi Rampaul was caught behind off the bowling of Steve Finn for two.
Tino Best was next up at the crease and soon had the England field scurrying around as he quickly built towards a half-century.
Meanwhile, Denesh Ramdin was able to complete his century before holding up a piece of paper that seemed to respond to comments made about the batsman by Windies legend Sir Viv Richards.
With a 50 under his belt, it got better for Best soon after as he set a new world record for a number 11 when he clocked up his 76th run of the innings.
However, the West Indies were all out for 426 just minutes before lunch when Best was bowled by Graeme Onions for 95 to end his 147-run partnership with Ramdin.
England's first innings got off to a bad start as Alastair Cook was bowled lbw by Rampaul before the wickets of Jonathan Trott (17) and Andrew Strauss (17) looked to have put the hosts in trouble.
Pietersen and Bell then struck up an impressive partnership to get their team back on track, but Pietersen was eventually out for 78 off the bowling of Marlon Samuels.
Jonny Bairstow was next to go for 18 which left Bell (76) and Finn (0) at the crease when play was stopped due to bad light.
