Graeme Swann appears to have overcome a possible wrist injury by taking part in England's warm-up ahead of day three of their Test against Essex.

England bowler Graeme Swann has appeared to overcome a recent injury scare by taking part in the warm-up ahead of the third day of his side's Test match against Essex.

The 34-year-old was forced to undergo a scan yesterday after getting struck just above the wrist by Essex bowler Tymal Mills during the Ashes warm-up clash between the two teams.

Despite leaving the ground to learn the full extent of the problem, it appears that Swann is fit to continue as he showed no signs of distress during a warm-up this morning.
