Strauss rules out ECB role?

Former England captain Andrew Strauss has reportedly declared himself out of the running for the ECB's managing director vacancy.

The 36-year-old recently claimed that he was considering the position with the England team as a replacement to Hugh Morris.

However, Strauss has decided to focus on his media career, despite the ECB placing him at the top of their wishlist, according to The Telegraph.

Strauss was part of the Sky Sports broadcasting team for the Ashes series this summer.
