Sam Billings makes England debut

Sam Billings will make his England debut during today's one-day international against New Zealand at Edgbaston.

The 23-year-old usually keeps wicket for Kent, but he will just be used as a batsman against the Kiwis, with Jos Buttler retaining the gloves.

Jason Roy and Adil Rashid, the latter of whom last played for England in 2009, have also been included.

As for the tourists, Tim Southee misses out with a slight injury concern, while there is a first ever outing for all-rounder Mitchell Santner.

They will be captained by big-hitting Brendon McCullum, who will make his 250th ODI appearance - the fourth New Zealander to do so.

England: A Hales, J Roy, J Root, E Morgan, B Stokes, J Buttler, S Billings, A Rashid, C Jordan, L Plunkett, S Finn.

N Zealand: M Guptill, B McCullum, K Williamson, R Taylor, G Elliott, M Santner, L Ronchi, N McCullum, M Henry, M McClenaghan, T Boult
