Joe Root wants to enjoy his games for England after being included in their squad for the tour of New Zealand.

Joe Root has said that he will be looking to make the most of his opportunity against New Zealand.

The batsman has been added to Englands's squad for their tour of New Zealand next month, having impressed in the recent matches in India.

The 22-year-old told Sky Sports News: "You don't know how many international games you are going to play so i just want to enjoy every minute of it, absorb it and make the most of it.

"We've got a big series coming up in New Zealand and a lot of people who want to put forward a strong case before that.

"Any international game is one you want to win. Playing for your country has a lot riding on it."

England face India in Dharmasala tomorrow.
