Pakistan in control ahead of third day

Pakistan have opened up a lead of 180 runs on day two of the third Test against England in Dubai.

England began the day on 104-6 after 16 wickets fell on day one and could only advance to 141 before being bowled out.

In reply, Pakistan lost the early wickets of Umar Taufeeq and Mohammed Hafeez to James Anderson and Monty Panesar respectively.

However, an unbeaten century from Younus Khan and a steady innings from Azhar Ali saw Pakistan close day two on 222-2.

Tomorrow, Khan will resume on 115, while Ali will take to the crease 25 short of his century.
