Eoin Morgan has conceded that he would "love to play Test cricket" again.
The current one-day international and Twenty20 England captain made the last of his 16 five-day appearances against Pakistan in February 2012.
However, the batsman's recent form in the limited-overs format of the game has resulted in reports that he could be in line for a recall in the future - something that Morgan is hopeful will happen.
"I'd love to play Test cricket. I'd lose my left leg to play Test cricket, although I'd not sure how I'd play on one leg," the 28-year-old told BBC Sport.
From his 16 Test outings, Morgan has scored 700 runs at an average of 30.43.
