Stuart Broad is taken for a scan after suffering pain in his heel.

Stuart Broad has been taken to hospital after feeling pain in his left heel.

The vice-captain of the Test side needed a scan after the tour match against Mumbai A.

A statement from the England team said: "Stuart felt discomfort late on in today's play and has gone for a scan."

The injury could leave England lacking pace ahead of the first Test against India, with Steven Finn looking likely to miss the match due to a thigh strain.
