Fifth ODI given 5.30pm start

The fifth one-day international between England and Australia will get underway at 5.30pm.

Play at Old Trafford had been due to get underway at 2pm. However, several rain showers in the Manchester area forced the umpires the suspend the final match of the series for an unspecified amount of time.

Despite doubts as to whether or not any play would be possible, the ground staff have managed to get the pitch ready for an early evening start.

The match has been reduced to 32 overs per side.
