England trail by 215 runs against South Africa with six wickets left on the second day of the third Test at Lord's.

England currently sit at 94-4 on the second day of the third and final Test against South Africa at Lord's.

The home side, who bowled out the visitors on 309 in the morning session, had a difficult time at the crease after losing skipper Andrew Strauss after 20 runs.

England, who are in danger of losing their status as the world's best Test side if they do not win the match, managed to hold on 29-1 by lunch with Alastair Cook and Jonathan Trott at the crease.

After lunch, South Africa stepped up their game and racked up three more wickets, leaving England scratching their heads and in trouble of being out of sight in their first innings.

The two sides broke for tea with England at 94-4 and Ian Bell and Jonny Bairstow due to continue batting in the evening session.
