England captain Alastair Cook has confirmed that he will not be joining the limited-overs team for their upcoming tour of the West Indies.

The Three Lions were beaten by five runs by Australia on Sunday as they lost their one-day international series 4-1 against their old rivals Down Under.

Cook will now be staying at home while the side travels to the Caribbean in preparation for the Twenty20 World Cup in March.

England get their tour of the West Indies underway against a Vice Chancellor's XI on February 25.
