Former England captain Paul Collingwood fears that his international career could be over after failing to feature for his country this summer.
Collingwood retired from Test cricket following England's Ashes triumph in Australia this winter, but continued to make himself available for the shorter formats.
Impressive domestic performances from youngsters Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Jonathan Bairstow have left Collingwood overlooked for international selection, prompting him to admit that his time could be up.
"I am fairly realistic," he said. "Something extraordinary would have to happen for me to get back in the side."
Collingwood won 197 ODI caps and captained England to world Twenty20 success in 2009.
