Carberry hopes to deal with pressure

Michael Carberry has revealed that he hopes to deal with the pressure of playing for England in the upcoming limited-overs series against Australia.

The 32-year-old Hampshire batsmen has been called up for the Twenty20 and one-day international matches against the tourists.

"That's making the step up now, it's all about dealing with the pressure and hopefully I can do that," Carberry told Sky Sports News.

"I'm pretty experienced now so I'm just going to stick to my gameplan and what has worked for me over the last couple of years and hopefully it's good enough."

England play the first of two Twenty20 games against the Aussies at the Ageas Bowl on Friday.
