Broad hails Anderson's contribution

Stuart Broad has praised the performance that his fellow bowler James Anderson put in during England's 170-run victory over New Zealand at Lord's this afternoon.

Broad was handed the man of the match award for his figures of 48-7, but he believes that Anderson, who took the other three wickets, deserves more of the credit.

"I've come away with seven wickets but Jimmy Anderson was the leader of this attack, he got five wickets in the first innings and I think he should be coming up to get this man of the match award," said Broad.

Broad and Anderson's display in the second innings marked only the second time in history that only two England bowlers have taken all 10 of the opposition's wickets.
