Ian Bell quiet on Graeme Swann retirement

England batsman Ian Bell says that he does not begrudge Graeme Swann for retiring from cricket.

England batsman Ian Bell has refused to give his opinion on the retirement of Graeme Swann midway through the ongoing Ashes series.

The 34-year-old announced that he is quitting the sport on Saturday, just days before the fourth Test against Australia that got underway on Boxing Day.

"Everyone is entitled to make their own decision on when their time is up," he told Sky Sports News.

"I've not spoke properly with Graeme, but that was his decision. He felt he had no more. He's been a great player to play with for England."

Swann played in 60 Tests and 79 one-day international matches for England.
