Jonny Bairstow fit for England tour match

Jonny Bairstow has handed England a fitness boost ahead of the series against India by recovering from a thigh injury.

The Yorkshire batsman had been a doubt to face Mumbai 'A' this weekend with a muscle strain, but has passed a fitness test to play in the three-day match that begins on Saturday.

His availability means that regular wicket-keeper Matt Prior is likely to be rested, with Bairstow taking the gloves.

Steven Finn continues to be an injury doubt after picking up a thigh injury in the draw with India 'A' this week.
