James Anderson praises West Indies duo

England bowler James Anderson praises the performances of West Indies duo Darren Bravo and Jermaine Blackwood to help defeat the Three Lions in the third Test.

England bowler James Anderson has credited West Indies duo Darren Bravo and Jermaine Blackwood for guiding their side to a five-wicket win in the third Test.

The Three Lions were bowled out for just 123 in their second innings, leaving Denesh Ramdin's side with a victory target of 192 to draw the series.

Bravo anchored his side's chase with a knock of 82, while Blackwood ensured the hosts got over the line with an unbeaten innings of 47 to level the series.

Anderson told Sky Sports News: "We played some good cricket and to get a first-innings lead, we thought we were in a good position.

"There were periods when we thought we were in with a chance but Bravo and Blackwood played very well.

"We've played well, I feel like I've bowled well and contributed, so very disappointed we didn't get over the line."

England are next in Test match action later this month at home against New Zealand.
