England in control at lunch following India collapse

England head into lunch at 63-5 against India having taken control on day one of the fourth Test at Old Trafford.

A spectacular collapse from the visitors saw England take four wickets with just eight runs on the board in six overs.

Following a rain delay in Manchester, India won the toss and opted to bat first. James Anderson removed Murali Vijay and Virat Kohli, while Stuart Broad took the wickets of Gautam Gambhir and Cheteshwar Pujara to leave India at an astonishing 8-4.

Ajinkya Rahane helped steady the ship somewhat but he was eventually sent packing when he was caught out by Chris Jordan to leave India at 62-5.

The series is currently tied at 1-1.
