Tremlett ruled out of England's third Test

Chris Tremlett is out of England's third Test against India tomorrow with a back injury, it has been confirmed.

The 29-year-old fast bowler missed the second Test after suffering back spasms and hamstring problems.

In a statement, the England Cricket Board said Tremlett would "receive ongoing treatment ahead of the fourth Test".

Tim Bresnan was drafted in as a replacement for the second Test and is now expected to resume duties tomorrow.

England enter the Test at Edgbaston with a 2-0 lead over the visitors.
