England make 237 in ODI innings

England are bowled out for 237 in the second one-day international with India in Delhi.

Touring England were bowled out by India for 237 runs in Delhi earlier today.

Captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bat, although that decision looked to be the wrong one when he and Craig Kieswetter were bowled out for ducks within the first two overs.

Kevin Pietersen came in and steadied the innings, top scoring with 46 before he was caught by Indian skipper MS Dhoni.

Samit Patel also made a healthy contribution with 42 runs, while Ravi Bopara and Jonathan Bairstow added 36 and 35 respectively.

Should India reach their victory target of 238, they will take a 2-0 lead in the series.
