Paul Collingwood has claimed that Scotland have what it takes to pile more misery on England when the two sides meet at the World Cup.
England have lost their first two Pool A games to Australia and New Zealand, respectively, while Scotland started their campaign with a defeat to the Black Caps.
However, Scotland's assistant coach believes that his team are capable of causing an upset ahead of the game in Christchurch, which gets underway at 10pm GMT on Sunday.
"There's real confidence and belief we can get a win," Collingwood, who played 197 one-day internationals for England, told reporters. "The guys are getting closer and closer against international opposition.
"We fought all the way to the end against New Zealand and it was only a three-wicket margin and we should have won against the West Indies the week before so we're getting there.
"That's going to be an amazing feeling if we can get that first-ever World Cup win under our belt, there's no better time than against England. That would mean so much to Scottish cricket."
England are currently bottom of Pool A, behind Scotland only on net run-rate.
