Andy Flower: 'England determined to retain Ashes'

Andy Flower says that England are determined to fight back in Australia and retain The Ashes.

Head coach Andy Flower has insisted that England will do everything in their power to transform their fortune and retain The Ashes in Australia.

The hosts can win back the urn and put to bed a run of three consecutive series losses to England with another victory in the third Test, having won comfortably in Brisbane and Adelaide over the past month to take a 2-0 lead.

"We have taken some serious hits but we do have a squad full of people who are determined to turn the ship around, and that's what we must do," Flower said in a press conference.

"There will obviously be changes in Perth. I'm absolutely ready to make tough decisions.

"We'll assess those conditions and see who will best be able to help us take 20 wickets."

The third Test starts on Friday at the WACA in Perth.
