David Warner, Shaun Marsh put Australia in command against West Indies

Australia have extended their lead over the West Indies to 316 runs at tea on day three of the second Test in Kingston.

The Baggy Greens began the session at 22-0 and Shaun Marsh and David Warner gradually became at ease at the crease as they managed to see off the remaining threat that the new ball posed.

Both batsmen played within themsevles as they passed the 50-run mark, but then Warner began to become more expansive with his strokes and put the West Indies' bowlers under immense pressure.

The 28-year-old notched his half-century off 90 balls and then took the attack to the home side to power Australia past 100. However, he fell for 62 when he top-edged a delivery from Kemar Roach into the hands of Denesh Ramdin.

Marsh continued his fine knock and notched his 50 off 109 deliveries, as he and Steve Smith guided their side to 137-1 at the end of the session, leaving Michael Clarke's men in a commanding position.
