First Australia, India Test rescheduled

Australia's first Test against India is moved to a December 9 start at the Adelaide Oval following the death of Phillip Hughes.

The first Test between Australia and India has been rescheduled for December 9 at the Adelaide Oval following the death of Phillip Hughes.

The match was due to get underway in Brisbane on Thursday, but it has been moved forward in order to allow players and staff to attend Hughes's funeral on Wednesday.

Australia and India will face off in the second Test at The Gabba on December 17, while the third encounter will begin in Melbourne on December 26.

The series concludes at the Sydney Cricket Ground on January 6.
