Adam Gilchrist: 'Australia could feel pressure to regain Ashes'

Adam Gilchrist believes that Australia could feel the pressure to regain the Ashes having secured a 2-0 lead in the series.

Former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist believes that the Baggy Greens could allow pressure to mount on their shoulders as they edge closer to regaining The Ashes.

Australia are currently leading 2-0 in the series Down Under, and they can snatch the urn from England if they win the Third Test, which begins this week in Perth.

"It is a challenge for the Australian team, they are so close," BBC Sport quotes Gilchrist as saying. "This group of players have not been in this scenario at any stage in their careers, most of them, so there will be a challenge for them to maintain that standard. That might be something for England to draw on."

Australia have lost the last three Ashes series.
