Michael Clarke: "It has been an amazing journey"

Michael Clarke reveals that he has greatly enjoyed his "amazing journey" during his career playing for Australia.

Michael Clarke has described his career as an "amazing journey" after playing his final Test for Australia.

The 34-year-old bowed out of the game, along with opener Chris Rogers, with an innings victory against England at The Oval as his side softened the blow of their Ashes series defeat.

Clarke told Sky Sports News: "It has been an amazing journey and part of playing for Australia - whether you play one Test or 100 Tests - you cherish every one.

"You never want to say goodbye but there comes a time for everyone and us two old boys, our time is up, but we've had a great time.

"I've been really lucky to have played with some fantastic players and guys that have given the team everything and Chris is certainly one of those, so I have enjoyed every minute of it."

Clarke made 115 Test appearances for the Baggy Greens, scoring 28 centuries.
