Joe Cordina predicting "very close fight"

Wales boxer Joe Cordina believes that his Commonwealth Games quarter-final bout with New Zealand's Chad Milnes will be "a very close fight".

Cordina advanced into the last eight with victory over David Gauthier on Sunday afternoon, before Milnes beat Lazarus Shaningwa to set up a rematch between the two lightweights.

"Yeah, this will be a harder fight than the last one. We were standing off each other quite a bit last time out, but this will probably be a very close fight," he told Sports Mole.

The last-eight bout will take place on Tuesday.
