Andrey Zamkavoy dumps out Errol Spence

Russia's Andrey Zamkovoy consigns the United States to their worst showing in the Olympic boxing competition by beating Errol Spence in the welterweight division.

Russia's Andrey Zamkovoy has defeated Errol Spence to deny the United States men's boxing team a medal.

There was very little between the two fighters after the first round, but it was Zamkavoy who edged in front 4-3.

Spence started the second round brightly, but soon he soon faded as the Russian slowed him down with some punishing body shots.

The American was the one forcing the pace in the third round and he threw everything at Zamkavoy as the seconds ticked away.

However, the Russian rose to the challenge and matched his opponent shot for shot to take a 16-11 victory.
