Oleksandr Usyk reaches the last four

Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk has beaten Russia's Artur Beterbiev to reach the last four of the Olympic heavyweight division.

There was very little between the two men in the first round, which ended 3-3. However, Usyk came on strong in the second.

A heavy body shot had the Russian on the floor and the referee administered the count. Once he was up, the referee then warned the Ukrainian for what he thought was a kidney shot.

That seemed to suck the life out of Beterbiev, before a big left hook from the Uuyk rocked him further. The Russian looked unsteady on his feet for just a second.

Usyk continued to pound on his opponent in the final round and went on to claim a 17-13 decision.
