Oleksandr Usyk dominates Tervel Pulev

Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk has destroyed Tervel Pulev of Bulgaria to clinch a place in the gold medal bout for the heavyweight division.

Usyk took the upper hand in the first round with a rapid right-left combination that sent the Bulgarian to the deck.

A right uppercut had Pulev backpedalling in the second round as the Ukrainian, who led 6-2 after the first round, went about stretching his advantage.

There were no problems for Usyk in the final round as he closed out a comprehensive 21-5 victory.
