Taras Shelestyuk cruises into quarters

Ukraine's Taras Shelestyuk has easily overcome Moldova's Vasilii Belous in the first welterweight bout of the afternoon session.

The Ukrainian looked comfortable and was rarely troubled as he took a 4-1 lead in the opening round.

Shelestyuk stepped up a gear in the second, letting fly with rapid combinations as Belous struggled to grab a foothold in the contest.

The world number one continued his assault in the final round as he strolled to a 15-7 victory.
