Fatih Keles subdues Abdelkader Chadi

Turkey's Fatih Keles has secured his place in the next round of the Olympic lightweight class with a 15-8 victory over Abdelkader Chadi of Algeria.

There was not much to separate the pair after the conclusion of the first round, which the judges scored 5-4 to the Turk.

The second round was a different story, as Chadi unravelled and Keles began to get on top, taking an 11-5 lead.

Chadi had given up with around one minute left and seemed content to not engage his opponent and accept his fate.
