Khan stops Molina at the end of Round 10

Amir Khan has stopped Carlos Molina at the end of Round 10 to inflict the first defeat of the Californian's career.

In a largely one-sided contest, Khan began at a whirlwind pace, catching the 27-year-old with several quick flurries.

Molina suffered a cut to his left eye in Round 2 as the Bolton fighter continued to rain down on him.

Khan's combos were not always clean through Rounds 3 to 6 but the sheer volume of the punches left Molina with no answer.

Molina was asked at the end of Round 9 if he wished to continue and appeared for Round 10 for more of the same from the explosive Khan.

As the fighters moved to their respective corners at the end of Round 10, the fight was stopped by the referee.

The victory brought an end to a run of two consecutive defeats for 'King' Khan, who bounced back following the loss to Danny Garcia in July.
