Frank Warren: Dereck Chisora ban "ridiculous"

Promoter and manager Frank Warren has said that the decision to ban Dereck Chisora from boxing is "ridiculous".

Chisora received an indefinite suspension for brawling with David Haye at a press conference in Munich earlier this month.

"I don't condone what happened outside the ring but there's been no hearing, there's been no evidence given," Warren told Sky Sports News.

"Chisora has not been allowed to give evidence, he's not been legally represented so how can you ban somebody without actually having a hearing – it's ridiculous.

"Everybody's entitled to natural justice but there hasn't been any of that."

The World Boxing Council branded Chisora's actions as "some of the worst ever by a professional boxer".
